Hello dear visitors and welcome to my humble blog.
My name is Randy and as you can see by looking at the header of this website, I love cameras. I just love them. Even though I am not a professional photographer and I haven’t been in the photography hobby for a long time, I still believe that I love cameras more than anyone in the whole wide world. I’ve loved them ever since I was a little boy, but unfortunately, I did not have the chance to get my own one until last year… Enough about me, though… If you want to know a bit more about the man behind this blog, feel free to visit About Me page on this website. There, you will find a bunch of interesting information about good old Randy (yup, I love to express myself in third person… I am weird like that!).
So… Since I don’t really know what to do with my homepage, I am just going to present you with a random blog post that I wrote a couple of days ago. It’s basically my own personal insight on modern day professional photographs (something I’d like to become in the near future)… and their favorite new tech weapon of choice – drones! I started with some small headless drones. But Now I’m using some more professional models such a DJI Phantom 4. So, without further adue, here it goes:
My current job, as some of you might know, is working at a retail store. Needless to say, I am not happy with it, but it provides me with rent and food money so I got that going for me, which is nice. Don’t think I am ungrateful when saying this but, I really hate my job. I mean, who dreams of working at a retail store for their entire life? Am I right?
Anyways, since this thing with professional photography seems like a good alternative for my future job, I started looking more into it… and apparently, there’s this new thing in the industry…GoPro drones! Who would’ve guessed that drones, those petty flying toys for kids, would make their way onto the big scene in such a strong way. I mean, don’t get me wrong but, no one even heard about drones cca 3 years ago… And nowadays, wherever you go you will see a couple of them.
The same is valid for the professional photography businesses as well. More and more people are opting for some of the most expensive drones on the market. Aerial platform drones, they call them. Most of them have built in cameras which these people use for various projects. I even saw a couple of them that were used for heavy lifting. I shit you not, there are drones out there that could lift my new camera with ease. Of course, you won’t be able to find these drones under $500, which is not a small sum of money by no means. So, I have gotten to a rather interesting conclusion: If I am to start my own professional photography business, one of the first things that I will do is buy myself a top quality drone. The key in starting any sort of business is in the innovations, and it seems like state of the art drones are the next big things in professional photography industry!
